Captain's Log, Stardate November 4, 2008. Election Day. Besides my new deep fryer (see below), today is a pretty busy day. I went to vote this morning (at the Mormon Church), then on my way to work, I got sneezed on by a dirty man at Penn Station. Am I secretly being punished for the way I voted this morning? It wasn't like he sneezed in my general area, it was like he looked at me and then sneezed on my face. I ran to work to wash my face. Tonight I'll be doing vote entry for the elections at work. I'm working on Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota. And no, I can't fudge the results since a supervisor/verification team supervisor has to check all my final vote counts. Gmail also has a few new things going on in their Labs section. The most useful ones for me include the addition of the Google Calendar gadget to the left pane, the drag and drop re-ordering of gadgets (so that Calendar would be right below my inbox), as well as Mail Goggles (so you don't drunk email your friends) I'm also trying to get some new apps for my iPhone - I'm digging FakeCalls (you can set a time for your phone to ring you back so you can get out of a horrible date, various obligations and the like), Tap Tap Revenge (guitar hero-esque), MyLite (turns your screen into a flashlight) and Knots.
